FIVE STEPS
Start your club on Rulla in five steps
You need a Rulla account. Then the app takes you through the steps, and the club works as soon as you’re done. Nobody reviews it first.
- STEP 1Name and home townGive the club a name and pick the town you ride in.
- STEP 2What you rideWrite a few lines about the club and pick road, gravel, MTB or mixed.
- STEP 3Who can joinOpen to all, by request or invite only.
- STEP 4Logo and cover photoUpload the club’s logo and a photo for the top of the club’s page.
- STEP 5Done, invite peopleLook over the club and invite the first members with the club’s link.
CLUB, CREW OR TEAM
Club, crew or team?
On Rulla you don’t need to be a registered association to be a club. Pick what fits in the club’s settings.

A cycling club or association with members and public rides.
- RIDING GROUP
A group of friends who ride together and want their rides in order.
- TEAM
A team that trains and races together.
- COMPANY
A bike shop or a company that rides with customers or colleagues.

Questions about starting a club
Does it cost anything to start a club?
Not today. Rulla is free, for the club and for its members.
Do we need to be a registered association?
No. On Rulla a group of friends can be a club just as well as an association. If you want to form a non-profit association, you do that separately, as usual.
Does Rulla review new clubs?
No. The club works as soon as you’ve finished the steps.
Can the club be private?
Yes. Choose invite only and post your rides for members.
Who can post rides?
Whoever starts the club is its owner. You can make others admins, and admins can post and edit the club’s rides.
What if the club is already on Rulla?
Claim it instead of starting a new one. Find the club and send a claim; Rulla’s founder reads it and replies by email.
Do I need an account?
Yes, you sign in with Google or email. Rulla works in the browser, so you don’t need to download anything from an app store.
