Book early: Motala fills up the week of Vätternrundan. The organiser runs a campsite at Råssnäsudden and floor space in the halls; everyone else stays in hotels in Motala or the towns around.

The organiser’s temporary campsite by the lake, close to the start and finish. Tents, caravans and motorhomes, booked through the organiser.
Floor space in the halls
The cheapest: sleep on the floor of one of the organiser’s halls in Motala, such as Vätternrundan Arena near the station. Bring a mat and a sleeping bag.
Hotels in Motala
Few hotels, and they book up early, often the year before.
Towns nearby
Vadstena, Linköping, Askersund and Mjölby have more to choose from. Allow for the travel to the start.
Getting to Motala
